No thumping music allowed, just the sounds of farm life & the birds…
No camp fire scars on the lawns, established cooking areas…
… and a fire pit up by the bar to enjoy the evening around…
No dress code, good fun, good food, good drink
Kembu means chameleon, many of whom live in the hedges surrounding the campsite and the gardens. “Here there really do be Dragons” ~ even if they are only little cute ones.
Kembu Campsite has been well designed to suit both large and small groups of all ages.
Terraced gardens mean each group find their own seperate area and privacy.
Cold Kenyan beers, a roaring log fire inside, an outside fire pit,
Scrumptious farm cooking, group catering deals, Pizza evenings, Barbecues,
And for those who really want to escape, we can set up a couple of tree tents in one of the bits of woodland out on the farm for a real nature fix.
These tents sleep up to three persons each, and are set up with a hammock underneath as a daytime chill out area. The experience is somewhat like lying on a trampoline, very comfortable and extremely cool.
For those who don’t have their own camping gear, Kembu also have plenty of safari canvas dome tents, mattresses, duvets etc for hire. Advanced bookings only, subject to availability.
